Device Compatibility & Technical Notices

Last Updated: July 13, 2026

At Trevit, we want your experience to be seamless. The Trevit Smartwatch is designed to work as intended with standard iOS and Android devices. Occasionally, phone operating system updates or individual device settings may require routine setup checks (such as Bluetooth, notification permissions, or app permissions) to keep everything running smoothly.

1. General Compatibility Requirements

To ensure the best experience, please verify that your mobile device meets the following minimum requirements:

  • Android Users: Version 7.0 or higher.
  • iOS Users: Version 12.0 or higher.
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth 5.0 or higher must be enabled.

2. General Device Compatibility Notes

The Trevit Smartwatch is fully compatible with standard iOS and Android devices that meet the minimum requirements above. In some cases, connectivity, syncing, or feature behaviour may depend on routine setup/settings on your phone (such as Bluetooth status, notification access, battery optimization, or voice assistant/app permissions). These are typically resolved with standard settings adjustments and do not indicate an issue with the smartwatch itself.

3. Third-Party Software & Hardware Disclaimer

The Trevit Smartwatch is designed to be compatible with standard iOS and Android devices that meet the minimum requirements in this document. Functionality may depend on third-party operating system behaviour and user-controlled settings (such as Bluetooth, notification permissions, battery optimization, or app permissions), and occasional software updates may require routine re-checking of those settings to maintain normal operation.

4. User Troubleshooting Responsibilities

To maintain optimal performance, users are responsible for the following:

  • Permissions: Ensuring the dedicated fitness app has "Always Allow" permissions for Bluetooth, Location Services, and Notifications.
  • System Settings: Verifying that Bluetooth is active on both the phone and the smartwatch.
  • Maintenance: Regularly checking for app-side updates that may include compatibility patches for new phone models.

Practical Troubleshooting Tip (Quick Fixes): If you experience connectivity or feature issues (including voice assistant conflicts or sync delays), these are often resolved by (1) checking for and disabling conflicting third-party voice assistant settings on your phone, and/or (2) performing a standard power cycle (restart) of your phone and smartwatch. These steps help confirm that the hardware is compatible and that a quick settings adjustment is all that’s needed.

5. Support Resources

If you encounter a technical issue not listed in this document, please consult Lyro, our AI Troubleshooting Professional, via the official Trevit website (trevit.store). Lyro is equipped to handle the majority of connectivity queries and can escalate complex cases to our human support team for a deeper review.
